Certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistant
Chardonnay was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up with a dad who was a science teacher, she was always fascinated by the world around her. She has always been interested in the sciences, especially medicine. As a young girl, she would often use her toy doctor kit to treat friends and family. But it was a Body World exhibit that she became interested in the human body and how it worked, leading her on a path to medicine.
After graduating valedictorian from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, Chardonnay continued her education at the University of San Diego. She graduated magna cum laude with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. From there, she went on to study medicine at Western University of Health Sciences where she graduated top of her class with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
During her clinical rotations, Chardonnay focused her attention on Family Practice. She has a passion for working with people of all ages and treating the patient as a whole rather than focusing on a particular body part or system. She became a physician assistant so she could spend time with her patients getting to know them and being able to educate them so together they could formulate the right treatment plan for them.
Chardonnay joined South Coast Medical Group in 2014 and has continued to pursue her passion by treating everyone with the skill, professionalism and empathy they deserve. She lives locally in South Orange with her husband and cat Trixie. Chardonnay and her husband enjoy cooking and worldly travel during their time off.
