1. For your convenience SCMG has set up internet access for its patients. Please read our terms on its use. RESTRICTION ON USE. You agree that you will not:
(a) Transmit any material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, obscene, libelous or invasive to another’s privacy;
(b) Use the public internet to harm, or attempt to ham, minors in any way;
(c) Use the public internet to impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifier’s in order to disguise the origin of any material transmitted through the service;
(d) Transmit any material that you do not have a right to make available under any law; 9e) Transmit any material that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary right of any party;
(f) Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail”, “spam” “chain letter” “pyramid schemes “or any other form of solicitation
(g) Transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
2. Although South Coast Medical Group has taken all commercially reasonable steps to provide a secure system, within limitations imposed by network and computer infrastructure, South Coast Medical Group does not guarantee that communication over their network shall be secure from monitoring or tampering, nor that information stored on any computer connected to the network shall be secure from monitoring or tampering.
THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES THE RISKS ASSOICATED WITH PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND HEREBY RELEASES TO SOUTH COAST MEDICAL GROUP FROM ANY LIABILITY FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY SECURITY BREACHES OR THE RESULTS THEREOF.
